Who inspires you?
Who's your inspiration or role model?
It doesn't necessarily need to be a celebrity. It could be a family member, political figure, an animal (why not haha) or maybe someone that's passed away whose life has had an impact on you. It could be anyone! And, it doesn't just have to be one person.
Please let me know your thoughts below. I'd love to hear who all your inspirations are.

Re: Who inspires you?
This is so ironic that you asked this because just last night I was thinking about someone who inspires me so much.
For me, I have a lot of inspirations but the one I'm going to talk about is Lizzie Valasquez.
She was born with a rare condition in which her body cannot gain any fat, so she is literally skin and bones. It's also caused her to go blind in one eye and it's discolored and kind of crystallized because of it.
The point is, she's been called the world's ugliest woman. ): But she has a heart of gold.
She is a motivational speaker and you tuber that talks about her life and how she deals with the bullying and all different kinds of things.
Yesterday, I read an article online in which she posted a message on Instagram responding to a bullying meme someone made of her. She was scrolling through Facebook or something and noticed someone made a meme of her that was very hurtful. She said the pain was enormous and she wouldn't wish that feeling on her worst enemy. Just thinking about how she must have felt makes me feel like it happened to me.
She's someone who inspires me every single day. I know we all say it's what's in the inside that counts, but sometimes they're just words and we don't actually live that out. But she really has taught me that our body is simply an outer shell. It's our soul that defines who we are, not our appearances even though they do tell a lot about us.
As some of you know, there's been a lot going on in my personal life recently, as I just lost someone extremely close to me. Maybe I'm just in a more vulnerable place, but hearing about her brings me to tears because I'm so tired of the world being such a cruel place. Her heart is filled with such love and when I look at her face, I don't see someone some people view as ugly. I see light glowing in her eyes and a smile of someone who is incredibly strong but has dealt with a lot of hurt. I see someone who radiates love and joy, not the "ugliest woman in the world." There's so much more to people than meets the eye and I hope everyone learns to give others a chance, because if you can see what I see in someone like Lizzie with someone else, the world would be a much better place. (:
If any of you are interested in reading about her story, you can google her name or go on YouTube to her page! I highly suggest it.

Re: Who inspires you?
Well the first person that inspires me is Ariana Grande (not surprising aha). She has taught me to always believe in myself and be the best I possibly can. She has shown me the power of a woman, feminism. She has inspired my lifestyle and and taught me to always give and show love to every single human (and animals hehe) no matter their race, sexuality, religion, etc.
A second person is my father. He has been through many tough times and is still the very best man I know. He is always there for me whenever I need him. He is very strong and hardworking. He is also very successful in life, owning three businesses, and that has inspired me to never give up and remember the great things that can come along.

Re: Who inspires you?
For celebrities I would say Selena Gomez and Harry Styles for obvious reasons. I just think that they are such amazing people and they are so sweet and treat everyone nicely, so that's just inspiring for me.
Also, my mother. We are super close and I look up to her as a person as she's always there for me. I go to her when I need her and if I need any advice or just someone to talk about with anything as I know she has my back and I have hers.

Re: Who inspires you?
Thank you so much for the replies, guys! And especially the amount of detail you've put in.
Lexi: Wow, she sounds like a truly inspiring lady. It honestly breaks my heart that there are people who can judge someone based on how they appear rather than their personality. The fact she remains so positive and slams these types of people is amazing so I'll definitely be searching her up to find out more!
Marilyn: Kinda had a feeling one of yours would be Ariana Grande but she's so awesome so can't blame you! It's wonderful that you look up to your dad and credit him for some of the principles you now have.
Sammy: Awww, Selena Gomez makes for a great role model. I know recently she has spoken very openly about her mental health and that in itself is inspiring. I'm glad you have a very close connection with your mother too.
I'll post my own inspiration in a bit because I'm in a rush right now lol.

Re: Who inspires you?
For me, there are many people who inspire me, so much that it would take forever to make a list! ^^"
For celebrities, I would say Joshua Hong from Seventeen, Sungjong from Infinite and Junhyeok from Day6(former member). These people in particular inspire me to become better people and to never give up on your passion.
I look up to these people as role models since I can relate to their backgrounds in certain ways. Joshua for example, reminds me to always put others before yourself and to constantly love others no matter what. Sungjong reminds me to always be humble and show kindness to others. Junhyeok reminds me to never give up on your dreams even if drastic situations may break you.

Re: Who inspires you?
You know, I've always found this question kinda hard to answer but there's a few people:
Hayley Williams: She's fought through a lot, as is evident in her songs. But she's a powerhouse of strength and a symbol of resilience to anyone who doesn't believe in themselves. She inspires me personally because she teaches that people who are different aren't bad and should fight through to be themselves.
Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun (Twenty One Pilots): These guys inspire me because of their song content. They've made me see that you can create something beautiful that will inspire many, no matter where you came from.
