Impossible Quiche
Impossible Quiche
Makes:
1 whole quiche - 8 slices
Preparation Time:
10 minutes +

Main Ingredients;
- 125 grams of ham
- 1 small onion
- 1 ½ cups of grated tasty cheese
- 1/3 cup of self-raising flour
- Salt and Pepper
- 4 eggs
- 1 ½ cups of milk
Optional (anything really) but here’s some suggestions;
- Chives
- Capsicum
- Tomato
- Mushroom
- Pepperoni
- Bacon
- Zucchini
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius – (392 degrees Fahrenheit)
2. Cut the ham and onion, as well as any optional ingredients added
3. Grease a large pie dish (5 cup capacity)
4. Combine the ham, onion, cheese and optional ingredients in a bowl alongside the flour which you will need to sift. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Transfer to the base of dish and scatter around.
6. Whisk eggs and milk together in a jug and pour over ham mixture.
7. Optional step; add cheese to the top of the quiche
8. Cook in the oven for 40 minutes or until puffed and golden.
9. Best to test with a knife to see if any liquid comes out.
10. Cool Slightly
11. Serve warm or cold.

This sounds tasty, thanks for posting! I noticed this recipe doesn't have pastry in it unlike some quiches, so I guess this recipe is extra healthy which is great

I personally prefer this over quiche that has pastry. It's got more of the actual heathy stuff in it than the quiche which has too much pastry and not enough mixture. It can pretty much be made with anything that's in your fridge too and can be stored. If you try it let me know how it goesFaye wrote:This sounds tasty, thanks for posting! I prefer quiche with pastry but this looks really good, still! I'll certainly be trying to make it. (Just without the ham lol) Thank you for posting!
