K-Pop anyone?

I should have made this thread sooner, but anyway, I'm making it now which is better than never. Since about March, one special person that I talk to everyday on another site introduced me to not only kpop in general as I didn't really listen to it before, but to a kpop boy group called bts (or Bangtan Boys). This group consists of 7 members. Anyone know of them or listen to them? If not, you should give them a listen. My bias is Taehyung.

Is anyone else a fan of kpop on here?

It's not really my thing but I have friends who love this kinda music. My close friend made me listen to a k-pop song but it just wasn't for me.  I guess it's a matter of opinion.

It's not for everyone that's for sure, but it's still good to take a listen anyway. That's cool that your friends like it though.

I'm a kpop fan! I know bts, but they're not my type..  haha

I know of BTS, and I've heard of a few songs, but I just got into K-Pop so there's a lot of people I need to learn the names of. My favorite group is Got7 (you should definitely give them a try, Mark is my bias).

I really love WJSN/Cosmic Girls and a friend of mine loves Sistar so I listen to them too aha. Cheng Xiao and Yeoreum are my two biases from WJSN because I can't choose just one of them. ;~;

Gabby: Which songs have you heard from bts? I've heard of Got7, but I never listened to them before. I should definitely get into more groups as the other group I kinda know of is Big Bang and a solo artist that's part of Big Bang as G-Dragon.

Their debut 'Momomo' is kind of cutesy, but their latest comeback 'Secret' is really good. I'm still listening to it non-stop like a month later. xD
'Catch Me' is pretty good, too. ^_^

One of my really good friends loooves K-Pop and I love the idea of K-Pop and girl groups and boy groups as well as their outfits and everything, but it's hard for me to really get into it as I cannot understand a word they are saying ahaha But I wish I could, bc it seems really cool!

I totally get that too, Lexi. For the most part I can't understand what they're saying either, but on the bts videos there are English subtitles so I can know what they're saying although I also tend to pick up a little Korean words here and there.

Yeah. Although not every group has those subtitles so if you search up the lyrics to a song then they would have both English and Korean on it.

The groups I like best that I've heard of are Sistar & AOA (I believe is AOA), you should check them out! I really like Seolhyun & Hyolyn.

I tend to like groups that aren't really popular and some that are non-idol groups..

You should listen to Save Me! That and Dope are my favorites from them although I do need to listen to more of their songs.

Sammy-I'll definitely give it a try! I just listened to I Need U and it was amazing. You should definitely listen to Got7; my recommendations are Fly, Magnetic, Turn Up the Music, Just Right, and If You Do.
