{Hello and here is my "big book" of poems. Now I am definitely not the best at poetry, but I like to express myself while writing poetry. What I love about poetry.. is that you could write about anything, but most of the time, no one knows what you're talking about. Basically, poetry gets you thinking. I hope you enjoy my poems. Thank you. Also all poems are original and are written completely by me.}

the pounding accent in your head
over and over again
the beat of drums that awakes from dead
the bones of ivory cracking in silence
brittle and frail
heeding orders from the royal highness
the crisp bitter air caressing the flesh
while the others are biting
time is known to be killed and threshed
as it ticks away as we fade
our mind burns with memories
regrets and achievement
but very little are the discoveries
of how we flee of how we see

the tadpole swims in the stream
never to be a shark
the duck meddles 
never to be an eagle
the kittens purrs
never to be a lion
never to be one who bites and attacks
never to be one who soars and protects
never to be one who roars and fights
never to be one who you're not suppose to
..
[so so sorry for not posting a poem in such a long time... but more will be coming soon. maybe one or two a week? we'll see. and thank you all for the lovely comments. they make my day hehe]

these distressed bodies ready to lay
drifting off away and away
though the bag of bones are dead 
the mind is still to be fed
our mind filled with stars aligning 
thoughts of life together combining
as the eyes are closed
the senses are yet to be told
but when we wake
we realize imagination had its take
is it reality or something other
it is a dream for another

lightly kissing my skin
take me down to the whispering creek
swift singing breezes
 pushing pass my hair
take me down to the whispering creek
the branches of a willow tree
shading me from harm
take me down to the whispering creek
faint noises of dragonflies 
filling my ears with joy
take me down to the whispering creek
