I wasn't there for you.

I sit, and i closely study you.
You laugh a melodic sound as you see me
Slowly pass you by
But, as i look closer, i see tears
Prickling the corners of your eyes
I miss your sarcastic smiles
Your velvety voice
Your bright eyes that held no pain
And now, they are filled with pain.
And now i know, i should have been there for you.
