Posting idea

Hmm this is a great idea, but I think the purpose of those threads were to chat, which we can already do on the chat box.

I don't think it would work out because I know another forum did something similar but nobody used the threads because they liked the chatbox better.

I'm not sure on this idea tbh.. I do agree with what the others have said. I think personally if you want to talk about those kind of subjects you can in the chatbox. Thanks for the idea tho!

I don't like this idea. I remember when BC started doing that and on the first day there were many pages, but then after that not so much. You should be able to post any topic that you want and how many you want in the month.

Maddy, maybe instead we could have threads where we take turns to present a subject of interest to ourselves and then people can post their opinions of it, if any? There could perhaps be prizes for the best presentation or best research etc.

It's true that there is a chatbox but not everyone joins it maybe because they're not comfortable or would be better posting in a 'slower' pace of a regular thread.
Also in the chatbox people can get singled out sometimes because the subject being talked about isn't relevant to them so the subject thread could provide another space to chat c:

don't quite understand why we'd restrict members to a certain number of topics a month..? Of course, there's also the chatbox. I don't quite comprehend what your idea is, since I wasn't on BC at that time. Could you explain this in a little more detail?
