Banner contests?

So I was thinking, just to shake it up a bit, we could have a banner contest about every 3 months. The winner would get their banner on the forum, and a personal color that they get to have for that month. The winner can't be a GA or anyone that regularly makes the banners. What do you think?

I like this idea, but I feel like every three months may be too much although I like the sound of that. I feel like each time though that there should be a theme to it.

I really like this idea, because it would be nice to have a change and use new banner styles we don't typically see. c: Like Sammy said, ever three months may be too often, but we can definitely have such a contest every now and then! : D

We could always have a thread about it where we ask people for their opinion's on suggestions for banner contests.
