August Updates!

Hello all FT members!

This August, we have some very exciting new updates for you! In addition, I'm going to explain some of the previous updates we've had thus far within the last few weeks.

As you look around the forum, you may notice that all 3 admins {Sammy, Stacy, & Myself} all have different color usernames. Not to worry, this doesn't mean some of us are no longer admins. (; It's just a cool new feature! How does this work, you ask? Well...instead of us all being apart of the 'administrators' group, we each have our own group! Therefore, we each get our own color while retaining the same privileges as admins! c: Pretty snazzy, huh?

Next, you might see that the new theme is already up! Typically, new themes are posted around the 29th or 30th of every month (depending on the length of the month). However, this month, it's posted a few days earlier. This is just a spur of the moment, exciting feature to bring you some of the newest changes at FT! More specifically, the inspiration behind this entire theme is the Rio Olympics taking place in just a few weeks! And that leads us to our next point...

The Rio Summer Olympics are almost here!! They begin on August 5th and we want to do something to celebrate! Currently, we have a few ideas, but the deadline is fast approaching and we'd like to hear your feedback on what type of activities you'd like to partake in! So don't be shy, offer your advice!

In addition, we are still holding our Pretty Little Liars graphic contest! The deadline is August 3rd, so you must get your entries in asap! We are low on apps, so we really need as many participants as possible! Hurry, hurry, hurry!

Another exciting change that has come to FT within the last couple weeks is the newest chatbox update! I've already created a thread describing this update, but for those of you who have not yet read it or visited the cb to actually witness it for yourself, I'm going to briefly describe it for you here. Before now, all that was visible in the chatbox was usernames and the comments the users posted. But now, beside each username is the member's profile picture! If you haven't gone on the chat to see this update yet, I highly suggest you do!

Lastly, I have an announcement regarding the Admin Ticket Store. This feature has been delayed for quite some time, but I am very pleased to inform you that it is coming soon! Without further ado, this month, we will be introducing member stickies for your profile! Now what does that mean, you ask? Let me explain. :3 If you look on this very message at my profile (not my actual profile, but the side profile beside my messages), you'll notice that I have a badge that says 'I <3 Cats.' Although badges that look exactly like that are not available (unless you've already purchased one), the idea is available. What I mean is, we will be selling new badges, icons, texts, etc. (whatever you want) and you will be able to have that image with you on your messages just like me! I am currently drafting up some models (as I am the creator of this idea & graphic) and it will be available shortly!

Thank you! We all worked very hard to make this all possible, so it's very rewarding to hear how much members love it & appreciate all of our efforts! <3
