Fandom Forums Ideas

I made another thread about what we can do to make reporting even better, but now I talk about a concern. You have seen several people leave the fandom reporters group so I am asking you all if you think it's even working? If not what are the alternatives? Should we just let anyone post anything they want, but don't have reporters? What can we do to make the fandom forums even more active than they have? I noticed that reporting was more active earlier this year to the summer, but once school started nobody made any articles. I let it slide since I'm in college and I don't always have the time to write articles, but I do have time to make quick ones that I didn't necessarily signed up for. 

Here are some ideas I have:
-Have games/quizzes (ones online or made ones)
-More update threads
-More news frequently
-Rewards, raffles, contests, etc

Those are at least a start, but please write some of your ideas down.

I feel like maybe deleting the whole reporter group is a good idea and make reporting open to the public. Bc if we were dealing w an active site of hundreds of people then there's a need for a few reporters than can guarantee accuracy, but since not that many people are active currently, I feel like letting anyone report might actually result in more threads posted. It kinda stinks though bc I love the idea of having reporters, I just don't know if it's the best option for our forum. /:

Yeah I was thinking of removing the group too. Besides the only two reporters left aren't even active themselves. I hope with removing the group it'll make people post on the fandom forums more as the games forum should be used less which never has occurred.

Yeah, I completely share the same thought process. As much as I like the idea of a reporter group, I feel like it's unnecessary and probably even a deterrent tbh

Yeah agreed. I went ahead and got rid of it as I bet others would have agreed too. Now people can discuss and suggest ideas to make the fandom forums more active.

its the school year and having specific reporters / a group just isnt realistic bc everyones busy and for half of them, ft is the LAST thing on their mind if even that

Yeah you have a point there. It definitely is more active when people aren't in school.

I think you guys are right about people not posting during school and I would agree on having no reporter group even though it'd be nice. I think it should be open to other people.

I changed the title. Now I am focusing on ideas for the actual fandom forums as the reporters have been removed for a while now.
