just a bit of a new story i'm working on

Okay so yeah here it is:

I lay awake, feeling numb. Only knowing what is blasting from my stereo. The song is I Miss You by Blink-182. I don't know when it came on. I don't know how long I've been laying here. I don't know what I will do when my mom finds out what happened.

I find my eyes wandering over to my desk, where my notebook lays. My mom likes me to write my feelings down, but I know she reads what I write, and she will be mad if she finds out that I'm numb again. I hate seeing her disappointed.

A few minutes later, or hours, or days, I hear the door open. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see my mom standing in the doorway. That look of disappointment on her face. It makes me mad at myself.
