Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I started watching Free! today. It's a sports anime, so I didn't think I'd like it, but I'm in love already.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
Gabby, I'm really glad that you started watching it!
I started watching Owari No Seraph, and so far it's quite good. I noticed that it's extremely similar to AOT, with walls and training to kill monsters (vampires) outside of the walls and the characters (main character filled with rage against the monsters, female who is highly skilled at combat and the weakling of the trio). I think it's just me who noticed these things, mostly because I put a lot of focus into things like this.

I'm not a huge fan of vampires, but that show sounds interesting.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I'm really sorry for not updating recently!
I finished Owari No Seraph, it was pretty good. There's a second season coming out next month, which I'm excited about.
I've started a few different shows recently: Charlotte, Hetalia and Btooom!. I'm also planning to start K-On, Akame ga Kill! and Noragami. I know I shouldn't be watching so much, but it's finally getting to me how much great anime there is.

That sounds awesome. I haven't watched any anime since July. At the end of July or early August I've been watching Degrassi. I plan to finish Fairy Tail when I do have a lot of down time.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
Noragami is fantastic. I watched it about a month ago.
The next anime on my list is Daiya no Ace, which is a sports anime. My friend says it's good, and then I'm planning to start Kill la Kill.

I've watched the first episode of Kill la Kill. The animation is pretty cool, and the story seems good too.

Daiya no Ace was a bit boring to me. I didn't like it.
Violet- I just finished the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul. Let me say one thing: it's absolutely freaking amazing already.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
Gabby, I'm really really really glad you like it! It's a really good anime, with the exception of the fact that it covers 66 manga chapters in 12 episodes. There's also the fact that the second season went off on a original story which added useless things to the plot, but I'll not say any spoilers.
If you finish Tokyo Ghoul and really enjoy it, I'd recommend reading the manga. I started reading it in August and it's far superior to the anime.

Great!
I'm probably going to broaden this club's title to Anime and Manga club because I think it counts as going off topic if we talk about manga.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I don't think it's counted as off-topic, but I think changing the title would be fine.
So I heard that Sword Art Online is getting a movie, but that it strays from the main plot line. I'm still very excited, though.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
Yeah, a lot of people were talking about it on Instagram so I searched it up. I don't really like the redesigned outfits for Kirito and Asuna.
There's a game that'll be coming out alongside it apparently. I'm not sure if the poster I saw was for the game or for the movie, but I think it was for the game.

I don't either. And I believe they're coming out with a game as well, I read about it.
I might be buying the game.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I'm thinking of buying a PSVita for all of the anime games that seem to be out. There's the current three SAO games (I only really want Lost Song), Tokyo Ghoul JAIL and there's a Attack On Titan game coming out sometime too.
I assume the new SAO game will follow it's counterparts and release for the PSVita and the PS4.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I wanted to start Durarara sometime, but after I've finished the 10+ animes currently on my KissAnime bookmark list. It's torture not being able to start anything new until I've finished everything.
EDIT: So I just finished Charlotte. I have nothing to say except that I cried at least 3 times overall in the whole 12 episodes. It seemed like such a wonderful anime, then people died and it became really sad. At least the ending was great.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I'm not very good with describing things so here's the description from KissAnime:
"While on the surface Yuu Otosaka appears to be just another charming and intelligent teenager, he has a secret—he has the ability to slip into people's minds and fully control their body for five seconds at a time. Yuu has been using this skill for years to gain the highest grades, which allowed him to enter a prestigious high school.
When the enigmatic Nao Tomori catches Yuu using his power, she coerces him and his sister Ayumi into transferring to Hoshinoumi Academy, a school for students with supernatural abilities. The student council of the school, led by Nao, is tasked with secretly tracking down adolescents who abuse their powers. Yuu is forced to join the student council and together, they face formidable challenges that bring him closer to the shocking truth that his own, seemingly incomplete ability, might be more powerful than he could have ever imagined.
An original story from Jun Maeda, creator of Angel Beats and Clannad, Charlotte explores the supernatural lives of these teenagers and the price they must pay for being special."
It doesn't seem to have a good plot at the start, but once you get about halfway it just gets amazing in my opinion.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
It is.
The next anime I'll finish will probably be Angel Beats or Akame Ga Kill because I've started them both quite a while ago.

Re: The Anime and Manga club!
I finished Akame Ga Kill today. I loved it, and it made me cry a lot. Since it's 24 episodes, I got a little bit attached to the characters. I don't want to spoil anything, but I've got to say that the show seemed to have a habit of killing off important characters towards the end; I'm pretty sure in the last 5 episodes, the character number dropped about 10.
I just have a lot of emotions, and unfortunately it's not really as popular as some of the other animes I've watched, so I have nobody to vent to.
