Introducing EXO

I'm going to be posting a lot of K-Pop here, but first I want to introduce you to a boyband called EXO. Originally, they had 12 twelve members, ~~R.I.P OT12~~, but you know things happens and the number of members have dropped faster than my grades. xD Anyway, several hours ago they released a new music video called Love Me Right, and I think you guys should give it a good look. Here's some information on this boyband.

There are currently ten members:

D.O.
Baekhyun
Suho (Leader)
Kai
Chanyeol
Sehun

Xiumin
Lay
Chen
Tao

They are divided into two units, EXO-K (Korean) & EXO-M (Mandarin). Red is for Korean and purple is for Mandarin.
They debuted in 2012 and their named origins from the term "exoplanet", which is basically a planet that orbits stars outside of the solar system.
In 2014 they won World's Best Selling Korean Artist at the World Music Awards. The song nominated was Growl.

I've heard of this group! Might have a listen to their music later , is K-Pop anything like J-Pop? I've had a little bit experience in that.

I'm not too familiar with J-Pop, I have listen to some artists like Babymetal and Scandal, but K-Pop is different from J-Pop. I think you might find similar concepts and music styles, but mostly it is different. Don't let that stop you from giving it a listen, though.
