Monthly Newsletters

Hey FT! I thought of an idea that would not only benefit the members that still go on here, but as well as the old members that could come back. My idea is monthly newsletters. We used to do them once a couple of months for something pretty important, but I believe now it should be a frequent thing. It could be anything from new forum announcements, birthdays, reporting news, and more! Anything we believe should be in that newsletter would be in that newsletter. My question is who would be interested in these? If so, please let me know.

For those that don't know how to receive newsletters follow these steps:
1) Click on the "profile" navigation button
2) Click on "preferences"
3) Where it says "allow newsletters" change it to yes
4) Click "save"

If you have any issues please let me know (as in what email is connected to your account for an example) as I will be happy enough to answer them for you or another admin. Or even any other questions let the admins and I know.

This is a great idea, I would be interested! 
The only thing is that some people might have an email connected to their account which they don't check regularly meaning they might not get to receive the newsletter, but there's not really any other way I can think of to advertise the forum to old members who could come back.

Yeah that is a problem. Other options are social media or virtual worlds, but those are more tougher to do in my opinion.

For now on we will update you when the newsletter has been sent out. If you haven't set up so the newsletter would be sent to your email, please do so now.
