Movie Recommendations
hello my lovelies <3
I figured once in a while we all get stumped on which movie
to watch next, so I decided to start a movie recommending
thread. Any movies you'd like to recommend just comment a
list or some below and if you'd like (though not necessary)
provide a little insight to what the film is about. Thank you
for taking your time to share your favorite--or just some
you'd think we'd like--movies with us all. As movies are

Re: Movie Recommendations
Titanic and the Secret Life of Pets are also amazing!
Titanic is based on the famous ship that sank years ago and it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack and Kate Winslet as Rose.
The Secret Life of Pets is simply what pets do when their owners are gone. It has dogs, cats, birds, etc. It's really cute!

Finding Dory is a touching movie and I think it will make you cry from happy and sad tears
Also, Zootopia is an inspiring and interesting movie!

Re: Movie Recommendations
I would definitely recommend Fantastic Beasts to you, it is a brilliant movie. I'm not really one for movies, but if you haven't seen The Duff, despite the cringe that makes you want to gouge your eyes out, the movie itself is pretty good.

Re: Movie Recommendations
yey I have been waiting for a thread like this for a while so thanks for setting this up Cammy!
I'll break mine down by genre so that it's clearer, also I don't know about everyone else but I won't watch movies of certain genres such as horror so hopefully the descriptions won't be misleading or anything.
Another thing is that some of the movies I'm recommending are rated 15 in the UK which translates to an R rating in the US I think? In most cases it's to do with the language they use rather than content - younger members please be aware of this (if this isn't allowed I can remove the titles which may not be appropriate!)
Comedy
21 Jump Street/22 Jump Street
We're The Millers
Bridesmaids
Scott Pilgrim vs The World
The Heat
The Dictator
Legally Blonde

Drama/comedy-drama(?)
Perks of Being a Wallflower
Paper Towns
Joy
Forrest Gump

Re: Movie Recommendations
Yes, I am british if I could go to the cinema now I'd choose between Moana and Passengers (it's got Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in who I both love haha). I think there's a movie coming out soon called La La Land which looks quite good as well, but tickets for the cinema here are really expensive (over £10 even with student ID) so i just watch things online instead xDShazza wrote:Thank you haha! 3D is worth the extra though in my opinion whenever I do go!

Passengers is meant to be amazing!! The Odeon near me does that sometimes but that's up north c:Anika wrote:I recommend Passengers. I've seen it and IT'S SO GOOD! So so good. Thanks for making this post, btw!

Wow, £5 for any film would be amazing - please PM me the name of this place xDD
Shazza: I used to go to an odeon up north as well and I can't remember the last time I paid £5 for a ticket I guess it really varies where you are. I hate how cinemas like odeon add on £1/£2 for the newer or more popular films
