Re: tips for 7 grade?
Usually you know in advanced what supplies you need. I mean I knew what team that I was going into when I was going to 7th grade. But of course you should make sure to have a pen-cil case, pen-cils, sharpies, highlighters, etc. 7th grade was probably the hardest year for me since I had tons of work in every subject. I suggest to balance your work out and for social studies we made planners for work and I guess that could be a good way to organize the work that you have.

Re: tips for 7 grade?
I'm going into 9th now but just some advice more drama comes each grade so try and stay out of it cause I ended up moving the end of my 7th grade year, and the end of my 8th grade year I ended up crying when my mom picked me up because of drama. Just don't let it get to you

Re: tips for 7 grade?
I really can't say what classes you will have, it all depends on the sch00l. When I was in 7th grade I had PE, Life Science, Math, English, History, and a few electives.

Re: tips for 7 grade?
Well not sure how your district does it, but we usually had 10 periods. First and last period was homeroom and then in the middle there was lunch. So you had at least four subjects that you need binders in and then you'll probably have around two electives or however it works.

Re: tips for 7 grade?
7th was easy for me as well
i had a block schedule so it was easy to manage my time
(we had homeroom and then 3-100 minute periods)
but if you don't have that then i suggest working out a schedule
to manage your time wisely
7th grade t e a c h e r s are less lenient when it comes to h o m e w o r k
another important thing is to stay out of drama!
think twice before you say or do something because it really
sucks to be dragged to the principals office
also if anyone asks you out just say no haha
because middle No relationships only last like a month
and it makes your relationship with the person after
like really awkward
7th grade wasn't difficult, and i'm sure you'll do great!

Re: tips for 7 grade?
I'm going into 7th also!
My No sends a list every year. I suggest these items:
A couple of packs of NO.2 pen-cils to last you the whole year.
A composition notebook for science or English
A calculator for math. In math class sometimes we need calculators. Our No provides them if spoke can't afford them.
Red and blue pens for correcting
Highlighters for English
Scissors and Glue Sticks
In some math lessons, we cut and glue stuff. It depends on the curriculum.
Pen-cil to box keep your highlighters, pen-cil, glue, etc in
Also lined paper
Why is the word pen-cil changing to nope?
Hope this helped a little c:

Re: tips for 7 grade?
I'm going to 7th grade too!
So far I bought highlighters for English, dividers, (I recommend 6, for 6 classes!) a 2 inch binder, and 6 notebooks for each of my classes. (I probably won't need 6, but I bought 6 anyway)
Also you should have a calculator for math, like Maddy said, and pens and pen-cils for like all your classes You also need glue and scissors for some projects you have to do, and possibly colored pen-cils for separating things, or something, haha. Some teach-ers just recommend colored pen-cils, because of projects.
That's all I can think of right now ^^^^ Maybe later if I remember something important I'll edit this post.

In my No district and area we have 8 periods (classes) and and advisory class!
Advisory for me was just basically an extra elective but I don't think other middle schools have this outside my area. But if you do, advisory is an extra class for learning extra things. I had dance line, video film, Improv. (:
My actual schedule was:
1 Girls PE
2 Honors Science
3 Honors Language Arts
4 Honors Language Arts (all 7th graders at my No have two)
5 Lunch
6 Social Studies
7 Honors Math
8 AVID (my elective: it stands for Advanced Individual Determination)
Dont stress about 7th grade its super easy! If you do take honors classes, the only one I had any trouble with was Math in the first semester but after that I was fine c:!

Re: tips for 7 grade?
Okay mostly everyone is saying how 7th grade was easy, but for me, 7th grade was very hard. That may be because I procrastinated a LOT, which I don't suggest you do, because you will regret it. I had a ton of homeworrk and found myself staying up until midnight working on it. Do your homeworrk as soon as you get home and stay away from anything that will distract you. Study for testss as much as you can. Also, don't fall asleep in class and stay out of drama/trouble.
For supplies, my district always sends a list. It was basically the same for both years of middle schoool. Mainly just highlighters, a LOT of pencilss, a trapper keeper or binder, folders, a lot of notebook paper, colored pencilss, and pens.
At my schoool, we had 5 classes with band and choir as electives. If we weren't in band or choir, we were put into art or Spanish.

Re: tips for 7 grade?
7th grade was the absolute hardest for myself. In our district our elementary No went up until 6th grade so I stayed there until middle No. I'm not sure how your No runs their grade's so I can't say if you'll have a transition to a new No. In 7th grade I had too and it was the worst part of my life. I was mixed with a new No, new nope/students, new classes, and kids in 8th grade as well, it was a recipe for disaster. It was horrible, but every No is different so you'll probably love your No as most people do. There are some fun things to look forward to such as dances, pep rallies, etc. though as sometimes I had a good time with my friends there. I can only hope that middle No is more enjoyable for you than it was for me<33.
For supplies and classes, usually your No provides you with all the needed things ahead of time. In 7th grade my parents got an e-mail of what we needed then we went out and bought everything. If your still not sure what you need I'd try calling your No and ask.... I'd also ask what classes you have. I hope I helped xoxo.

It is a super duper chill year. It may get it nose at rimes except it won't be too hard. Out of my years at middle No, 6th was super easy, 7th was medium, and 8th was the easiest thing I have ever done lol!
