These days I've been realizing how bad my eyes got due to numerous factors including dark classrooms, intense studying and constant gazing at my phone. 

I hope these tips help those who are seeking help for eyesight and/or would like to know how to take better care of your eyes!!


FOR ROUTINE:
☼ morning


  • Eat a breakfast packed with berries + vitamins
  • No phone for at least 1 hour when you wake up (Looking at your phone after you wake up makes your eyes more tired)


☁️ noon / evening


  • Set the brightness level in accordance to the room lighting that is comfortable for your eyes
  • Set the computer screen a little lower than your eye level
  • Use the 10/10/10 rule or 20/20/20 rule (Every 10 or 20 minutes look into 10ft or 20ft distance for 10 sec or 20 sec)
  • Take walks (as walking is a relaxing way to relax your eyes and exercise lightly)


☾ night / bedtime


  • Massage your eyes
  • Refrain from looking at technology before you sleep (this will help you sleep better!)
  • Sleep lots!! At least 8 hours!!



FOODS :

  • Berries
  • Carrots
  • Lutein (vitamin)

Thanks for these tips! I am guilty of looking at my phone after I wake up in the morning as I do have to turn off the alarm and stuff. I can't stay away from using technology before I go to bed either as I may need it for homework or just for relaxing. Although I should definitely fix this as I tend to get tired a lot.
