On December 18, 2017

Kim Jonghyun of Shinee

passed away

in a committed suicide.

Kim Jonghyun in the past has dealt with

depression for most of his lifetime

and he had talked about it often in the past.

Unfortunately, he had tried to seek help, but was

blamed for his personality and was told that

he just had voices in his head

as said by his doctor.

Depression is a serious issue.

I am here to spread hope by sharing this petition.

Whether you were a fan or not,

I think it is important to acknowledge

the consequences of society and how it can

affect individuals in dire ways like these.

We have lost a person that has chosen death upon himself.

This is an issue that is the darkness of humanity.

My heart is heavy and I want all of you to know

you're not alone.

Please take your time to sign this petition.

I believe this is an important issue to recognize especially in Korea

where mental illness is not viewed in a positive way.

Please spread the word

to as much people as possible.

signed & shared. this is so, so important, his death has ultimately destroyed me and it was so,, preventable. i'm so ashamed in the lack of support towards artists.
