site name change
fandomtopia.forumotion.com is the current url, are the notices from the site going to reflect this?
i.e. watched topic

What do you mean? All the links, like threads and sections from this site, will include Fandomtopia.forumotion in their URL. This would include watched topics. Is this what you mean? If not, maybe you could clarify (:

Are you referring to emails? Or something else? Yes, the url has changed, but I'm planning on buying the forum a new domain with the name fandomtopia so stay tuned for that.

This occurred about 3 days ago I believe when the domain name of fandomtopia.forumotion.com expired. 

When this happened, I was redirected to this page:

Although technically they are the same site, the users had to re-login because it was still a different url. Also, all the links that were posted (on the welcome message for example) were redirected to that site as well. However, an admin changed it because now it is set for www.fandomtopia.forumotion.com, meaning that all the links are now working for the new site name.

So the problem no longer exists, but it definitely did before.

yes, every time i got on FT there's always that link with a bunch of different forums. I was a bit confused on that as well

Yeah, that's bc the url most of us went to (bearvilleboulevard) is now no longer available (or working i mean) and so you have to physically type in the new one instead of being redirected to it (:

I was kinda wondering if people would still get emails that involve bvb's links. I would expect that to change pretty soon hopefully as it still says that bvb is the current domain, but it's going to fully expire soon.

Yeah, the reason for that is because now that thread "technically" no longer exists because bearville boulevard is no longer a site. Although the thread is still available, it is now under a new link, therefore you will be receiving those emails all the topics you were watching before the site name change. Hope this helps!
